The day before I got my O level results I spent tidying up my room! Yay! :D
The first to go were the humongous piles of worksheets. I sifted through all of them, out of boredom, to see if I could find anything interesting. Boy, what a waste of time that turned out to be. All I found were silverfish and...squashed silverfish. So, with the pointless searching done, I dumped them all into the rubbish chute! What a wondrous sound the worksheets made as they descended down to their DOOM! Seriously, I quite enjoyed the...fluttery sound they made when they went down the chute. :D That and I never did like half of it and it was just occupying space in my room.
Next, I cleaned out the shelves! Horrible, horrible shelves. I had an epiphany then. A sudden realization that shelves were full of suck and cupboards were far superior. So, with that, I caused a shitstorm and started bitching to my parents about how I wanted cupboards and IKEA furniture was meant to be laminated...blah blah blah. :P That was to no avail though, I think my parents just ignored me. :(
And that was when I decided to make cardboard cupboards
complete with sliding door!! :D Gutting my dad's product packaging proved to be fun and constructive! Cardboard is seriously a miracle material. Furniture, cards, wrapping paper. It is just so versatile! And nothing adds that hobo touch like cardboard! :D Okay.
Satay sticks make wonderful furniture too! :D Y'know how IKEA shelves(uhg) have these holes in them? Okay you probably don't but they do! Just shove them satay sticks in and you have yourself a charming rack to hang shit on! Isn't that amazing? :D I hang my TWO belts on them and they have yet to snap! :D
This post lacks any continuity whatsoever, but hey, it's late and I feel nonsensical.
